Schwanog from Germany offer Thread Whirling Tools on Swiss type CNC Automats .The demand for bone screws and dental screws have been increasing in Medical Industry which are mainly made from stainless steel or titanium which requires extremely high precision and surface finish.Thread whirling with the Schwanog WEP system has the advantage that number of Form Inserts are used ( 6, 9 or 12 nos ) and can be used for External Threads. Schwanog also offers tools for Internal Thread Whirling. The total thread depth is whirled in one single process cutting from raw material stock. Schwanog cutter body is set up using the required helix angle in the front of the guide bushing and is driven at high speeds by the Thread Whirling Head while the main spindle rotates at lower speeds.This system is available for all popular Swiss type CNC Automats like Tornos, Citizen, Gildemeister, Tsugami, Star, Hanwha etc
